App Description

Join Trainers across the globe who are discovering Pokémon as they explore the world around them. The newest update to Pokémon GO, the global gaming sensation that has been downloaded over 750 million times and named “Best Mobile Game” by The Game Developers Choice Awards and “Best App of the Year” by TechCrunch, introduced a revamped Gym gameplay experience, including the opportunity to join together with others to battle against powerful Pokémon in the new Raid Battle feature! Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pikachu, and many other Pokémon have been discovered! Now’s your chance to discover and capture the Pokémon all around you—so get your shoes on, step outside, and explore the world. You’ll join one of three teams and battle for the ownership of Gyms with your Pokémon at your side. Pokémon are out there, and you need to find them. As you walk around a neighborhood, your smartphone will vibrate when there’s a Pokémon nearby. Take aim and throw a Poké Ball… You’ll have to stay alert, or it might get away! Search far and wide for Pokémon and items Certain Pokémon appear near their native environment—look for Water-type Pokémon by lakes and oceans. Visit PokéStops and Gyms—found at interesting places like museums, art installations, historical markers, and monuments—to stock up on Poké Balls and helpful items. Catching, hatching, evolving, and more As you level up, you’ll be able to catch more-powerful Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. You can add to your collection by hatching Pokémon Eggs based on the distances you walk. Help your Pokémon evolve by catching many of the same kind. Choose a Buddy Pokémon to walk with and earn Candy that will help you make your Pokémon stronger. Take on Gym battles and defend your Gym As your Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can battle together to defeat a Gym and assign your Pokémon to defend it against all comers. You can also participate in Raid Battles at Gyms around the world. A Raid Battle is a cooperative gameplay experience that encourages you to work with up to 20 other Trainers to defeat an extremely powerful Pokémon known as the Raid Boss. If you succeed in defeating it in battle, you’ll have the chance to catch an extra powerful Pokémon of your own! It’s time to get moving—your real-life adventures await! • Fun

The game has come a long way and I still enjoy playing it since day 1. There are some recent bugs however that have made gameplay a bit more problematic. Since I upgraded to an iPhone 8 w/ ios11 (from a 6s w/ios10) the game will more often lose gps connection with the red error message, closing the app is the only thing that fixes this. There are also periods of gameplay stuttering that happen, it won’t stop until i close the app. I have reinstalled the app and used it on a different iPhone 8 w/ios11 and have the same issue, not sure if it has something to do with low power mode or not.
  • Great game

I could spend hours on this game and still not be bored.
  • One Star Until Raids Are A Thing of the Past

By Why must the name be unique?
The walking, exercising, improving life aspect of this game has been so horribly altered and trashed with the raid system, I'm almost done with this game. It has gone from spending hours outside with friends hunting Pokémon to driving across metropolitan areas just to find parking and get out and wait for a large group who may or may not show up to help fight a Pokémon you most likely will not catch. Pretty much done with this game.
  • Awesome game!

If your looking for a game that barely anyone plays anymore than look no further. They will shadow ban you for using iv websites then there’s no way to contact customer support. They can’t get there events right either. Total fails all across the board on there part.
  • Still Freezes

    By JM412
After numerous “Bug Fix” updates you would think they would fix the constant freezing that happens when trying to revive and use potions, nope. The game freezes every time I have to revive and heal Pokémon. Each Pokémon requires a revive and at least 1 potion, so that means I have to force quit the game at least 2 times per Pokémon. It’s horrible after I do a legendary raid where I have 5 - 6 Pokémon down, that means 10-12 force quits. Oh that’s not including the numerous times that I have to force quit during the bonus challenge because the premier balls just stop showing up. This freezing happens on both WiFi and LTE.

  • Waste of time

I spent days farming poke coins and then one day without warning they all just disappeared.
  • Crashes a lot!

I wrote a review a while ago and kept updating it because the problems got worse over time despite the weekly updates and I guess they decided to delete my review. No worries , I’ll just write one agin. Basically there are a ton of glitches that causes the game to lag, constant network errors, timer runs out sooner than 30 minutes on lucky egg and incense. During a raid battle with Charizard I was on my last ball that I did not use and he ran away no thanks to a glitch. I have lost out on numerous opportunities which has cost me a lot of money. I don’t get anything good at pokestops, just a few pokeballs or potion here and there. Amazing how I don’t have a dragon scale yet and I have been playing for quite awhile now. There’s no compensation for your frustrations and they lack a decent reward system. Worse app ever! Go ahead and keep deleting my review. I’ll just keep writing it.
