App Description

Open the gateways between worlds, Heroes at your side. Nintendo's hit strategy-RPG Fire Emblem series is now reimagined for smart devices. Fight battles customized for touch screens and on-the-go gameplay. Summon characters from across the Fire Emblem universe. Develop your Heroes' skills, and take them to new heights. This is your adventure—a Fire Emblem that's like nothing you've seen before! This application is free to download and offers some optional in-app purchases. ■ An epic quest A world with two kingdoms: the Emblian Empire, which wishes to rule all worlds, and the Askran Kingdom, which stands in its way. You are a summoner with the special ability to call upon legendary Heroes from different Fire Emblem worlds. In order to save the Kingdom of Askr from destruction, join the Order of Heroes and face a never-ending challenge. ■ Intense battles Take part in strategic turn-based battles streamlined for on-the-go play with maps that fit in the palm of your hand! You'll need to think hard about the advantages and disadvantages of each Hero's weapon—and even evaluate the map itself as you battle. Lead your army with easy touch and drag controls, including the ability to attack by simply swiping an ally over an enemy. ■ Original characters meet legendary Heroes The game features numerous Hero characters from the Fire Emblem series and a few brand-new Heroes created by artist Yusuke Kozaki, known for his work on Fire Emblem Awakening and Fire Emblem Fates. Some Heroes will fight at your side as allies, while others may stand in your way as fierce enemies to be defeated and added to your army. ■ Many modes let you play again and again In addition to the main story, there are many other modes where you can strengthen your allies, compete against other players, and more. Also, free and timely updates will continue to add new Hero characters, content, and other surprises to keep you engrossed with hours of additional gameplay. ● Story Maps: The story brings together new Hero characters along with familiar faces from the Fire Emblem series. Lead your army to victory to save the Kingdom of Askr. ● Training Tower: Engage in battle scenarios of varying difficulty that you can play over and over to earn rewards and experience (EXP) for your allies. Each time you take on these maps, the enemies and terrain change to offer a new challenge. ● Arena Duels: Fight against your rivals around the world. Your high score and ranking will determine your rewards—items that can increase your Heroes' abilities. ● Hero Battles: Under Special Maps, discover various battle scenarios that are available for a limited time. Defeat the Heroes who oppose you to convince them to join you as an ally. Battle together with your favorite Heroes, watch them grow, and enjoy an all-new adventure that opens up a path to the future. [What is Fire Emblem?] The long-running hit Fire Emblem series comprises strategy/role-playing games with deep tactical elements and depth that increases with every move you make. As you progress through the story, you will meet and bid farewell to many allies. * Internet connectivity required to play. App Reviews

  • Free to play AND win

    By Sanoblaze
Normally, when a big free to play game comes out, you'll hear how it basically gouges you out to get a little bit ahead, this game however, is very lenient on its free to play system. You need orbs, but naturally beating a board will grant you one each time. The only reason you'll even need to buy orbs is if you're really wanting a classic Fire Emblem character that you already enjoy. It also pretty much can be boiled down to a Fire Emblem mini-version. The boards are small but the tactical prowess needed for them still stays true. Now I gotta get back to grinding for Jaffar.
  • Great at first, but quickly declined

The game is great and a lot of fun at first. You get plenty of orbs and level characters fairly quick. After time you, begin to see the flaws. Feathers to level up your favorite characters will takes months to obtain. Orbs significantly decline and require purchasing. You'll find the orbs aren't worth the cost. The PVP system is a crap shoot and becomes frustrating as there seems to be no difference in the three ratings when you get to higher tiers. You'll come to hate Takumi, especially when you don't have one. He is extremely overpowered and will wipe your whole team by himself in pvp. The special battles are near impossible to beat because your first decent positioning puts the character in range to get killed without getting one kill in. This is true even when you're level 40 going after the level 30. The computer will not position itself until you are in attack range, so basically you're screwed. The character spawn is as expected for this type of game, however the odds of a 5 star increase until you finally get one. I thought that was a nice feature. Overall, your love for Fire Emblem will turn to agitation, frustration and loathing after you play a few months. Great short term game, but lacks longevity features. You'll see the game as a true 3 star rating once the honeymoon stage wears off for the FE fans.
  • Fun and mostly free!

    By ToasterGhost
Big ups for this game, in that, while it does offer paid content, it is entirely possible to play without it. Fun for just a few minutes or over longer periods of time!
  • Coasting on gameplay, but that's enough.

Needs more of a tutorial. Writing is pretty terrible.
  • Best Nintendo app by far

I have been trying to find a game to keep me occupied this has been the best by far.
  • Enjoyed the gameplay but

    By KingDusk the BlkLion
The game itself is great, the character illustrations and voices make it fun to collect your favorite heroes from the series but the grind for certain items like feathers and orbs is monotonous. After you've cleared most of the easy-orb missions they become extremely scarce other than buying them with real money. Feathers are needed to upgrade your characters and they're pretty much given to you daily... about 5 at a time unless you do quests to obtain 500-1500 that are very limited especially when you need 20,000 from 4-5. Overall, the game is great but after a week can become unplayable due to lack of resources.
  • Great game

    By Kyle1292
Great game but I will give three stars. I ended up deleting it for two reasons. One was for the lack of orbs. You can purchase orbs but I refuse to purchase as I do not think it is worth it this ties in to my second reason. My second reason is the hero summing sessions. It is very frustrating at times to pull for the heroes you want and that is how your orbs go to waste. You can literally have 50 orbs and not pull that one hero you want from the banner, and if I had to add another flaw it would be the hero banners themselves. I have found myself spending my entire orbs savings from log in bonuses on a hero banner to pull for a hero only to end up seeing how three days later they end up putting a new one with desirable heroes. The banners are not up for a long time and this makes saving up for orbs difficult and maybe not pulling for another banner. It is a great/highly addictive game but it got to the point where I just became frustrated.
  • Awesome but seems a little in fair

    By carsonnnnnngggdh
What I think is unfair is the 5 star rate 3.00 very low at max in my opinion it should be 5.00
  • Great game with awesome characters. Nintendo got it right
