    Can’t send any messages now. It keeps saying “please do not use invalid characters, html links–“ This needs to be fixed immediately.

    This app crashes on me every time I try to delete an message. It is so frustrating!!! The pc website its much better. What are they using all this membership money for?!? Get it together care.com!!!!!

    Newest version doesn't have the same layout, and you are unable to see the number of applicants. They also pop up in different orders, and don't have the date they've been posted, so it can be hard to tell which is new and which is not. Not impressed.

    This app used to be amazing... I recommend it to everyone I knew ... but within the last year it's become incredibly frustrating and difficult to use.. I understand you need to make money .. So I paid for a subscription, however you won't allow me to or the perspective job to give each other our phone numbers .. It makes The Whole process so comber some and difficult ... The app is also difficult to navigate now . I say no to a job 5 times and it still keeps popping up ... I think it would be wise for you to listen to people's complaints, because I know it's not just me who's frustrated. The clients I have have said they also won't be using your service any longer

    *UPDATE** I took the time to send care.com screen shots and very specific feedback on what has been "broken" in the app for about 6 mos (at their request) and they have not even bothered to respond. The app is the worst communication platform you'll use. Unfortunately it's a necessary evil bc they still have the largest selection of care providers, but the app does make it extremely difficult to wade through lots of applicants and communicate with them. In my opinion, this company is going downhill. See other reviewers as of this past year as well! Like another reviewer said, the fact that carechat won't let ANY phone numbers come through in the app is annoying. So that means we end up using emails to send contact info and reference contact info. Not to mention the app is super buggy. Wrong names show up in the listing, profiles don't load, to name the least. Used care for 4 yrs and the last 3 months have been terrible. The applicant quality isn't Great either, making me use agencies now instead . But it's a necessary evil for now since there are more folks on care than other sites.

    When a client posts a review, it can take many days before it shows up on your profile. Also, with care pro status, takes many days after you qualify before it shows up. If you respond to a voice message with a phone call, not via a text message, you get penalized -- and you can lose your carepro designation. You MUST always respond with a text message to anything that you have received. Your voice response to a voice call request does not count. This is a bug in their system. When you respond to a voice with a voice it should qualify as a response, it should not require another extra text response. Lost my carepro status for a week because of this problem. This is what I'm giving the one star rating.
  • Terrible app, terrible company, its a scam

    After getting excited about being able to find some babysitting jobs in the new area that I moved to, I was quickly disappointed when I found out that after applying to about 10-20 different jobs over the course of a month I was not able to receive messages or job acceptances from anyone because I didnt "upgrade" aka PAY to get a job. First - that would have been a great piece of information to share before I joined, and secondly, why would I pay $40 to get hired. You literally can't do anything on this site without paying, and that is ridiculous. This is a shady site I would not recommend it.
  • Great to get jobs but be careful of scams

    It's a great app to get jobs, but recently there's been a huge increase of scams that you'd have to be aware of! Look up babysitting/dog sitting scans on google before accepting any jobs!
