App Reviews

  • Pretty good lite RTS

Gameplay is kind of repetitive, so not sure how engaging the full version would be. But computer is challenging. Pretty good RTS overall, if not so replayable.
  • like risk

i liken this to risk if risk was real time strategy. you have turns amd at the end of each turn you get reinforcements in whichever land you currently have selected as HQ. you move your troops between lands and must leave at least 1 behind. when your fighting it seems to do random die rolls between the attacker and defender to battle it out and both sides take losses like in risk. i found the game frustratingly challenging at times. the computer AI can make decisions quicker than you and you have to keep scrolling the map around to watch every angle because you cant zoom out. but its a good game. i just dont like the prices on all the squareenix games. i bought final fantasy and i don't regret it but their games are some of the most expensive games in the app store.... i would buy this if it was $3
  • Seriously great game

I put off buying this game because of all the bad reviews--- big mistake! I couldn't put this game down. I loved the strategy element ( kind of reminded me of playing risk...), and I even found myself getting into the story line. I just beat it and plan on playing through it right away. Can we get a sequel?
  • Not smart

They made some thing like this but not put other game on!!? Oh well
  • THIS is a Square Enix game?!?!

    By sai45208
Wow. So glad there was a lite version. The tutorial was just awful. Lines would be skipped, so after one line, another would be blank. I'm assuming that the skipped info was important, because I could barely figure out what to do. It was just bad, and boring. Music was pretty good, but other than that, I could not believe that Square Enix made this - I'm used to a lot better from them. With this game, I deleted it without finishing the tutorial. It was that bad. What a disappointment.
  • Awful game

I can't believe Square Enix even made something like this. All you do is move generic soldiers around and try to capture everything. They don't even fight each other, only autobattle towns. The opponent does the same but gets a huge number advantage. Simplistic, frustrating, and ultimately not fun.
  • Nice game

A very interesting game and I enjoy playing it. To legatobluz, there is a old DOS game called Z which has very similar system. Try it if you can get it.

Makes me want to smoke crack for some reason. Good game, I'll buy the regular version
  • Great game

So glad there was a Lite version before I pitched in for the full. Really fun strategy game. I only wish you guys would make a Final Fantasy Lite version so customers could try that out before they decide to buy it. Maybe make it so you can only play until you defeat Garland (create a bridge) and level cap of 5. Also a Lite version of Chaos Rings would be great, that game looks awesome but the price tag is pretty steep.
  • Very Exciting

The free version definitely makes me want to get the full version! It is a little challenging, but great fun. The game is simple to learn and keeps you busy, a must have for long car rides. You come away feeling like a hero when you've finished, I would recommend this game to all my friends. (Remember - It is a strategy game, so if you don't like to plan things out, or think things through, this isn't the game for you.)
