App Description

Disclaimer: This is the final version of Spine Decide. But don't worry, all of the content and features of Spine Decide have been moved to the new Orca Health app. Users who have not previously downloaded Spine Decide should download the Orca Health app instead. This update to Spine Decide enables users who have previously subscribed to access their subscriptions in the new Orca Health app. Simply sign up for an account, and use that account to login to the new app to access your subscribed content. Existing subscribers can continue to use Spine Decide to access their content, but we strongly recommend switching to the new Orca Health app to take advantage of its enhanced features. After a brief period to allow existing subscribers to switch to the new app, Spine Decide will be removed from the App Store and existing subscriptions will no longer auto-renew. New subscriptions to Spine Decide cannot be purchased in this version, but the same content can be purchased in the new app. Orca Health cannot cancel, edit, renew, refund or otherwise manage your subscription. In-app subscriptions are entirely the purview of Apple via iTunes. The new app provides a better user experience by seamlessly including the content from all Orca Health Decide apps, (Spine, Shoulder, Knee, Hip, Hand, Foot, Eye, ENT, and Dental) together in one app. In addition, the Orca Health app will be maintained and updated to take advantage of the growing features and capabilities of iOS. Users of the new app can purchase discounted subscriptions to multiple anatomical regions. Users can also favorite the diagnosis, treatments, and exercises they are most interested in. Furthermore, users who have iOS 11 installed on compatible devices will be able to view anatomy in augmented reality, or AR. We thank you for your interest in Spine Decide, and apologize for any inconvenience caused during this transition. We hope that you will find the new Orca Health app to be worth it. Liked some of these apps more than others, but now I have to pay a subscription to use them, on top of the initial purchase price!?? Sorry, not happening. I'll just delete them and free up a lot of space. You will never see another dollar from me. Just received a generic response to my review from 2 years ago. What does that tell you? I haven't had these on my phone since I deleted them. I have moved on to better things and you guys should too.

It's okay but it doesn't provide much information. The animations seem short and there is no narrative. There is better content, free i might add, at the Spine Health website. The exercise are good as vs. the printed sheets that my therapist gave me.. Paying $8/month is just too much for what you get.
  • Not worth it!

6 months ago I needed a microdiscectomy at L5/S1. My doctor told me about this app and it's amazing. There's great looking videos showing exactly what my injury is and how the surgery fixed it. I use the exercise videos daily, they help my back feel so much better and stronger. The 3D model is really cool, and now it shows the nerve pathways affected by injuries at different regions of the spine. It's EXACTLY where I've felt pain. I've used to it show my family what I'm going through, and it's helped give me peace of mind throughout what can be a scary and nervous time. Thanks!

  • Nothing free and expensive unless you need it badly

Great idea but essentially no content for free. No trial and prices are too high. I reviewed 4 videos from different decide apps and they don't even have any sound. Basically what you get is a collection of silent videos of possible exercises and a collection of silent videos about conditions. There is some nice sample imaging for conditions. As stands worth $3-6 per month depending on how bad you need them. If had sound, especially what to do and not to do on exercises, could be worth $4-$8 per month. Might be worth more if your doctor is using it. Try it but you'll be probably get more out of searching for videos on YouTube instead. Also, their privacy policy isn't too great, especially considering the medical information.
