App Reviews

  • A real App Store gem! *MUST HAVE APP!*

    By Ipad user 81
Just click BUY! 4.8 out of 5 stars is a joke!!! This absolutely deserves ALL 5 stars! Wish I could give it 6! This is a fantastic app and was VASTLY underpriced when I paid $9.99 for v2.x back in the beginning of 2013! Since then it has received a RIDICULOUS amount of great updates adding A TON of new features!!! Makes all other TTS apps obsolete. Even though they are YEARS ahead of their competitors Voice Dream continues to innovate and improve upon what is already an App Store gem! I believe @$14.99 this app is STILL underpriced! click 'BUY' now before they realize they could easily be charging $19.99 for this!!! There is a related but far inferior app called read2go that is priced at $19.99 Thank you so much for continuing to support and update this app! keep up the great work and the 5 star reviews will continue to add up telling the story of what a great app you've created! 👍 Thank you
  • Still not good enough

Ebook parsing is broken/incomplete. Rhythm is awkward, which is a very unpleasant listening experience. Whole words are not understandable. Ugly interface, bad user experience. Better than Siri, but has a long way to go.
  • Worth every cent

I am totally happy with this app. A few ups and downs but bugs get fixed very fast. It has many features that are superior to other similar apps. Eg. Being able to click on any part of the page and it will start reading where you clicked. It works much better on a iPhone 6 than the 5. Highly recommend it
  • Love it

    By Bigbadjacob2
This app helped get my reading level to 10th grade when I'm only in 7th, I really love it and it's a great learning tool but the voice freaks me out because it doesn't sound human but I'll read it anyway
  • Gamechanger

I travel a lot for work, so it's fantastic for those long car rides to catch up with my reading, both for pleasure and business. And I do use it for work quite a bit -- I read a lot of research articles, but I always find myself reading the articles out loud (when I'm alone). I'm need to hear things spoken to really absorb them, and this app has been invaluable to me. Especially for slogging through those long, highly technical papers which can be torture to read. Great app, keep up the good work.
  • Exceptional Value

Well worth the price! Now I can listen to my electronic documents while I work or travel just like it was an audio book. Love the Lisa voice, very fluid. As a suggestion I would love to somehow be able to clip out header and footer data such as page numbers etc from the reading of the document.
  • Issue solved!

  • My most used app

It’s amazing how much time we have on the road, waiting for people, doing chores etc. By listening to Voice Dream during these fragmented sessions, I managed to finish many books that I were almost certainly not able to finish reading on my own. I probably spend on average 1.5-2 hours on this app. Most of the time, listening to books is probably a better use of time than listening to podcasts or music. Developers’ quick response and fixes after iOS 11 was released has been amazing. Kudos to them for making such a great app.
