OMG. I. Hate. This. App. I got questions right, then it says I got them wrong. I do not recommend this app.

My child is advanced for math and I wanted to keep the interest going with a game app. This "math" is awful. I'm shocked that kids are forced to learn this garbage in schools. It's completely backward in helping anyone to understand. Wish I could give negative stars. Keep your money.
  • Not a tutorial

No explanations provided for the different exercises. If you get a question wrong, it doesn't explain how to get the correct answer. Not worth $10.

I work as a math tutor and right now I have all 5th graders needing help in math. They all very much enjoy using this app. I like it because it does well at covering the 5th grade math curriculum. I know as I am working through everything as well (my students like they they have more spaceships than I do). The only real problems I’ve found is that it will randomly freeze at the end of some practice worksheets. Sometimes it will count to the student’s progress and sometimes it won’t and that the games don’t always stay unlocked even though there would still have lives left.

I use Spash Math in my special education class. The kids like using it, and I can differentiate instruction with it. Everyone can work at their own level.

Great app for reviewing concepts and supplementing lackluster curriculum. My daughter enjoys it.

My son and I love this app. He used the earlier grades at school and continues to use at home. The one improvement I would make is to allow kids to log in on a different device. He started playing on his iPad, but now has an iPod. He carries the iPod with him and wants to play splash math on the bus ride to school, but doesn't want to start his progress over. Any way to play the same profile on multiple devices?
